THESIS REFLECTION

MY THESIS PROJECT HELPED IMPROVE MY KNOWLEDGE OF STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING. THE YEAR LONG PROJECT, AS CHALLENGING AS IT WERE, ENABLED ME TO LEARN AND STUDY THOROUGHLY EVERYTHING THAT GOES INTO DESIGNING BUILDINGS' STRUCTURAL SYSTEMS. THE DIFFICULTY OF THIS PROJECT ENCOURAGED MY OVERALL INTEREST AND PASSION FOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING. AND UPON COMPLETING THE PROJECT, I AM CERTAIN THAT I HAVE UNDERGONE SIGNIFICANT GROWTH IN MY CREDIBILITY AS A PROSPECTIVE GRADUATE OF ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERING.

THIS YEAR HAS TAUGHT ME A LOT OF LESSONS THAT I WILL CARRY OVER TO THE REST OF MY PROFESSIONAL CAREER. THE BIGGESTS TAKE AWAYS SURROUND THE IMPORTANCE OF CRITICAL ANALYTICAL THINKING, HARDWORK AND EFFECTIVE TIME MANAGEMENT. THESE ARE ESSENTIAL TOOLS THAT WILL BE NEEDED DAILY IN THE ENGINEERING INDUSTRY. WITH THAT SAID, I CAN CONFIDENTLY SAY THAT COMPLETING MY THESIS PROJECT HAS HELPED IMOPROVE MY ABILITY TO CRITICALLY ANALYZE ENGINEERING PROBLEMS, EXECUTE A HIGH LEVEL OF HARDWORK TOWARDS SOLVING THESE PROBLEMS, AND MANAGE MY TIME PROPERLY TO ENSURE MY BEST WORK IS PRODUCED.
